MEXICO NATIONAL FLAG

The Flag of the United Mexican States known as Mexico, with the coat of arms placed in the centre was adopted in 1968, while the design itself has been used since 1821.

The coat of arms is derived from an Aztec legend that their gods told them to build a city where they spot an eagle and a serpent, which is now Mexico City. Mexicans celebrate their national day on the 16th of September.
